Hello again, and welcome back to Total Sim Island! The first day here was a little hectic with everyone arriving, but we made it through. After the long journey everyone was tired and headed to bed after a bite to eat. Before though, lots of Sims proclaimed their attractions. It seems Christopher Steel is the leading man with the ladies. Morty seems to just be attracted to anyone!
Could the drama already be starting!? We'll have to wait and see. As I sleep in my own cabin, the cameras roll through out the night. Every contestant was given a sketch book and a sleeping bag at the beginning of the show. While everyone is asleep, Rachel wakes up and tries out her new sketch book. I wonder what she is drawing?
At 4:45am she decides to head back to bed. I hope she'll be ready for the day it is going to start early!
Six o'clock rolls around and the trumpet sounds! Time to get up campers! The first real day has begun. This week there will be no challenges, this is a week for everyone to explore the island and get to know their fellow contestants.
First out of their cabin is Red, she doesn't look like she slept very well!
Kris: Good morning Red! How did you sleep?
Red: Well there are a couple girls that snore, so I could of slept better.
Kris: I'm sorry, I think we have some ear plugs somewhere. We'll have to look into that.
Don comes out of the boys cabin next!
Don: Bugs! There are bugs everywhere!
Kris: We're on a remote island what did you think would be here?
Don: Not bugs! Only gorgeous women!
Kris: Bugs only add to it Don, get used it it or you won't last a day on this island!
The cameras pan over to Lori as she walks into the men's cabin. What could she be doing in there? I don't even know if the men are dressed yet. That really isn't an innocent look.
Ah she's picking out a book! I guess this book shelf has better books in it then in one in the women's cabin.
Lisa is next into the men's cabin. These women waste no time do they! She heads straight over to Daniel and shares a secret. I think they knew the camera was on them, I couldn't hear it, or I would for sure share it!
We find Nikki, Christopher and Malcolm behind the women's cabin chatting. So far they seem to be getting along.
It isn't long though that Christopher and Nikki start up their own conversation, leaving Malcolm out. He eventually gets bored and wanders off.
Rachel finds the gnubb set and practices with that, while Jenn finds food.
Kimi also does the smart thing, and gets food to start her day.
Nervous finds the athletic equipment, again a smart move with challenges coming up! While Bella finds a bird to watch.
Boy does Morty look like a crab this morning! I really hope his grumpiness will not bring down the other contestants. Meanwhile, Kimi and Jenn get to know each other.
Kimi: I could make steak for dinner!
Jenn: Oh I love steak!
Kimi: With diced up carrots sauteed in melted butter! A little salad on the side.
Jenn: Sounds good!
Morty:*grumbles*
Back over to Nikki and Christopher, things seem to be going pretty good! Could we already be finding love?!
While young love is going on in one part of the camp, enemies are being made at another end! Malcolm and Red do not seem to be getting along at all! We walked up on the last part of the argument so I cannot tell you what it was about. I did however hear something about chickens and a llama.
Red then tries to make amends by telling a funny story.
Red: So one day this little mouse ran out of a hole.
Malcolm: Spare me! I think we are done here!
Red: No wait! You'll love it! Just let me finish!
Malcolm: Get lost!
Lisa has now moved on to Don. She flirts a little with him, which he doesn't seem to mind at all. Come on, we all knew he wouldn't!
Christopher, done talking and flirting with Nikki, calls everyone over to hear a ghost story. I personally think it would be much more scarier at night but whatever, the campers seemed to enjoy it.
Bella joins Lori in the men's cabin to read a book. They both seem to so far want to keep to themselves. Is this a strategy they are planning?
The mosquitoes on the island have found their first victim! Jenn is the first to be bitten. The little bugger didn't get a very long meal as she squashed it!
She might want to go wash her hands after that! Ewww!
Kimi tries to strike up a conversation with Morty. It doesn't last long though. He just doesn't seem to be interested in anything yet. Very surprising with his reputation!
Nervous worked on his athletic skills till he was level 3! I don't even think he has talked to one other contestant yet. He must be very shy! He look sad, I wonder what is wrong?
Instead of getting something to eat, taking a shower or going to the bathroom, Nervous decides it is time to light the bonfire! Does he not know that it is 96 degrees! At least he looks happy now. It must be playing with fire that did it!
Red doesn't choose the traditional food the network has provided, instead she embraces her inner camper and eats the wild mushroom. I don't think it is poisonous, but I wouldn't be the one to try it out!
Jenn decides to take a nap in the fairy house. Good thing the network remembered one of these!
Rachel goes back to sketching while Kimi is starting to feel the heat of the day! I think we might all need to take a trip down to the beach!
Bella and Malcolm seemed to have found an activity that will cool them off though!
While it is not pancakes, Christopher stays true to his word and cooks up something for the group!
Nikki warms herself by the fire, and then complains how hot it is. Wouldn't the smart thing to do is not stand next to a roaring hot fire? Don really needs to stop gawking at all the women and find something to eat! The poor guy is starving!
Then Kimi comes over to start a conversation with Nikki. Sadly, Nikki didn't get the joke Kimi was trying to tell or something. She was not impressed. Don still stands around listening.
Morty has moved on from Kimi to Rachel. I think he likes blondes!
Bella didn't see that Christopher had made a whole plate of hot dogs and decides to make her own. She is not as good of a cook as Christopher and ends up burning the hot dogs.
The rain rolls in as Nikki and Kimi try again. This time Nikki tries talking about magic. I'm guessing Nikki is into it and Kimi is just being nice and agreeing.
That seems to have worked and the two start making silly faces at each other. Nikki even pierces her own lip with her tongue just to get a laugh!
Morty and Rachel stand around talking so long that both get super sun burnt. Those look so painful! I hope they will be able to compete tomorrow!
Lisa and Lori seemed to have found a common ground. Books. They stand around and chat for hours about them!
Jenn wakes from her nap and heads to get pollen juice. Then she realizes its raining and decides to head inside instead.
Kimi and Nikki are the next to get burnt! That doesn't stop them from having fun though and they keep talking.
Nikki then trips just standing there and Don thinks it is hilarious. Mind you, the whole time Kimi and Nikki are getting to know each other, Don is standing there listening to every word. Creeper much Don? Go eat!
Ah so that is why Jenn went running inside! She wanted to change her clothes so she could play in the puddles!
Kimi and Nikki then try to catch the raindrops on their tongues!
Aww Christopher, you too? Did not one of you bring sun screen!
What the hell!? Did Red not tell us something?!
Red: It's a lie! I wasn't even reading a book, I was eating!
Kris: I'm sorry Red. but the notifications don't lie.
Red: Bull crap, I am not pregnant!
Kris: Guess we will have to wait and find out.
Red: Whatever, Lisa is the one reading, not me.
Back out checking what the other campers are doing, we find Nervous playing in the puddles. He has still kept very much to himself, not making conversation with anyone.
Hey Lori! No cell phones! Whoever it was seemed to piss her off anyways!
Daniel has seemed to found another person to flirt with. Lori doesn't mind though, she actually starts flirting back.
As all the girls start heading in for the night, they find Nervous in their cabin reading. Seems innocent enough right? Or could he have chosen this place to watch the girls sleep?
The same though, could be said about Lori. Why choose the men's cabin to read before bed? Especially when most of the men are already sleeping.
While everyone sleeps, our only vampire stays up late and drinks her plasma juice.
She finally decides it is time for bed herself, but is assaulted with the horrible B.O. smell that has taken over the women's cabin.
And so the camp was quiet, at least for a little while.
